| probably only adjust to factory specs. They are probably worried more about liability issues than anything else. But a smaller shop, one that knows you and the car will probably accommodate a reasonable request. If you have adjustable suspension parts, a shop can set up your alignment for whatever purpose. They will most likely try to talk you out of any settings that are unreasonable for a daily driver; for example, dropping the car too low, or adding too much camber. And they most definitely would not setup the suspension to any specs that could result in unsafe handling characteristics. My alignment specialist also partime-works on local racing teams in SCCA and dirt track cars. He asked me if I was interested in autocrossing the car, and volunteered that he could help dial it in for for the track.
